Websites for Restaurants and Hospitality Brands

In hospitality the website is the front door, and most of the time someone is standing at it on a phone, deciding in about eight seconds whether your place is worth their evening. We build sites for restaurants, bars, venues and hospitality properties that make that decision easy — and that you can actually keep up to date yourself.

What hospitality sites need that generic sites do not

  • A menu you can change in two minutes. Not a PDF. Not a call to your developer. Prices move, dishes change, and a stale menu costs you covers.
  • Mobile first, genuinely. The overwhelming majority of restaurant searches happen on a phone, often while someone is already out.
  • Booking that works. Whatever system you use, it should be one tap from the homepage, not buried.
  • Photography that sells the room. Food, space and light, shot and cropped so the atmosphere survives the screen.
  • Hours, location and contact above the fold. These are the three things people came for.
  • A Google Business Profile that matches the site. For local search this matters as much as the site itself.

Why generic agencies get hospitality wrong

Most web agencies design hospitality sites as brochures. Beautiful full-screen imagery, a scrolling story, the menu three clicks deep.

But hospitality traffic is not browsing, it is deciding. Somebody is standing on a street corner, or sitting in a car, or halfway through planning an anniversary. They want the menu, the hours, the photos and the booking link, in that order, immediately.

We design for that impatience first, and let the atmosphere come through the imagery and the writing rather than through making people work for the basics.

Built for the people who run it

Hospitality is not an industry with spare hours in the day. So the site is built so that the things that change often — menus, hours, events, seasonal offers — are the things that are easiest to edit.

Every build includes a short handover session with whoever will actually be updating it, and we keep it simple enough that it still makes sense three months later when you have not touched it since.

You own the site outright when we are done. No proprietary platform, no monthly fee to stay online.

Hospitality and property work

Recent work in this space includes Belmont 205, an oceanfront property in Ocean City, Maryland, where the site had to do the whole job — atmosphere, availability, location and booking — for guests planning a stay from hundreds of miles away.

Common questions

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes, and this is the single most important thing to get right. Menus are built as editable content, not uploaded PDFs, so changing a price or pulling a dish takes about two minutes on a phone. No developer, no waiting.

Do you handle the booking or reservation system?

We integrate whatever you already use rather than pushing you onto something new. The important part is placement: booking should be one tap from the homepage on a phone, visible without scrolling, and present on every page.

Do you do the photography as well?

Photography and branded visual content are available as part of a project. If you already have good photography we will art-direct how it is cropped and used, which often matters more than shooting again.

How long does a hospitality site take?

Most run four to eight weeks. Hospitality projects tend to move quickly because the content already exists, the menu, the space, the story, it just needs structuring and shooting properly.

What about our Google Business Profile?

It gets set up or cleaned up as part of the work, and matched to the website. For a restaurant or a venue, the profile often gets more views than the site itself, so leaving the two inconsistent costs you covers.

We are a small independent place. Is this overkill?

Not necessarily, but we will tell you honestly. If what you actually need is a clean one-page site with a menu, hours and a booking link, we will scope that rather than sell you something larger.
