Restaurants, venues & hospitality

Your website is the front door. Make it worth walking through.

Someone is standing at it on a phone, deciding in about eight seconds whether your place is worth their evening. I build sites for restaurants, bars, venues and hospitality properties that make that decision easy, and that you can keep up to date yourself.

Hospitality traffic isn't browsing. It's deciding.

They want the menu, the hours, the photos and the booking link, in that order, immediately. I design for that impatience first, and let the atmosphere come through the imagery and the writing.

What hospitality sites need

Six things a generic site gets wrong.

Most agencies design hospitality sites as brochures, with the menu three clicks deep. These are the details that actually fill tables.

  1. A menu you can change in two minutes

Not a PDF, not a call to your developer. Prices move, dishes change, and a stale menu costs you covers.

  2. Mobile first, genuinely

Most restaurant searches happen on a phone, often while someone is already out.

  3. Booking that works

Whatever system you use, it should be one tap from the homepage and present on every page.

  4. Photography that sells the room

Food, space and light, shot and cropped so the atmosphere survives the screen.

  5. Hours, location and contact up top

These are the three things people came for. They shouldn't have to scroll.

  6. A Google profile that matches

For local search, your Google Business Profile matters as much as the site itself.

Built for the people who run it

Easy to keep current, even in service.

Hospitality doesn't have spare hours in the day, so the things that change most are the easiest to edit.

Menus, hours, events and seasonal offers are all built as simple content you can update from a phone. Every build includes a short handover session with whoever will do the updating, and it stays simple enough to make sense three months later.

You own the site outright when we're done. No proprietary platform, no monthly fee to stay online.

Common questions

Good things to ask.

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes, and it's the single most important thing to get right. Menus are built as editable content, not uploaded PDFs, so changing a price or pulling a dish takes about two minutes on a phone.

Do you handle the booking or reservation system?

I integrate whatever you already use rather than pushing you onto something new. What matters is placement: one tap from the homepage, visible without scrolling, on every page.

Do you do the photography as well?

Photography and branded visual content are available as part of a project. If you already have good photography, I'll art-direct how it's cropped and used, which often matters more than shooting again.

How long does a hospitality site take?

Most run four to eight weeks. Hospitality projects tend to move quickly because the content already exists; it just needs structuring and shooting properly.

What about our Google Business Profile?

It gets set up or cleaned up as part of the work and matched to the website. For a restaurant or venue, the profile often gets more views than the site itself.

We're a small independent place. Is this overkill?

Not necessarily, but I'll tell you honestly. If what you need is a clean one-page site with a menu, hours and a booking link, I'll scope exactly that.
